Currently located on the Gold Coast this Bedford SBR 422 was first registered Nov 1976, now with Qld rego until June 2002.

Powered by a front mounted Isuzu 6BBI diesel with a displacement of 5.4 litres, this engine has travelled just 3250 Kms since installed from reco and will travel at freeway speed (110kms ) with an average fuel consumption of 5 Kms/Ltr.

A new 6 speed gear box has been installed producing a speed up to 115 Km/Hr.
Total length is 9.7 Mt or (30 ft ) Width is 2.6 Mt or (8ft 2 in ). Front 98% clean skins, rear are 80% radial caps.

On gas, we have 2 x 9 kg bottles to supply a 4 burner gas stove, a Valiant instant gas hot water system supplying kitchen sink, hand basin and shower. The toilet is a new Sanipotti, but the original black water tank is still in place. Fitted with an island D/bed with plenty of storage underneath.

The front passenger seat swivels 360degs while the drivers will by unclipping it, also fitted are CB and a UHF band radios plus stereo radio and cd player, an awning has been fitted to the passenger side with a roll out gas BBQ underneath (not to used together) House electrics consist of usual 240 volt system, also included is a Honda generator and a solar system which consists of 4x 7.6 volt solar panels delivering 1100 watts through a regulator to 5xOddessy 1500 deep cycle batteries.
